MPE MEXICO ACHIEVES ISO 14001:2015 CERTIFICATION

Following the headquarter, which achieved the certification in 2019, in January 2022 the subsidiary Materias Plásticas y Elastómeros de México S.A. de C.V is compliant with the Environmental Management System standard of ISO 14001:2015.

This is a great step for the Mexican branch, which was founded in 2008 and relocated in 2019 in the new industry park of Léon-Bajo, close to Léon city.

ISO 14001:2015 is an international standard issued by an accredited certifying body which verifies and states the company’s commitment in the environmental field. That means that the facility has an adequate management system in monitoring the ecological footprint of its activities and is committed to reduce the impact arising from goods production, storage and trading processes.
